FAYE: Unificazione
This mixed media artwork was created during the 8-week artist residency of Primavera Digitale, culminating in an exhibition at Refugio Digitale, Florence, Italy. Developed within the framework of the Digital Enlightenment movement, the project explores Renaissance themes through a contemporary lens and extends beyond the physical exhibition into the Web3 space, where it has been minted as an NFT, continuing its presence in the digital realm.
The piece investigates the philosophical and human dimensions of The Sacrifice of Isaac, decoding its symbolic layers of vulnerability, faith, and salvation. It proposes that by embracing these aspects within ourselves, we become our own source of light, a personal enlightenment through the recognition of the whole within. Combining original photography with a custom-designed 3D project, the work is a reflection on inner transcendence through digital expression. Available in Mallow.
